OVERVIEW: Class Eight Manufacturing Inc. needed their 2026 product catalogue print-ready, fast. A previous designer had built the 124-page document in Canva, and when it came time to go to press, the file couldn't be exported in a format suitable for print production. I was brought in to rebuild the entire catalogue from scratch in InDesign on a compressed timeline.
Because the layout had already been client-approved, the priority wasn't redesign, it was precision reconstruction. I rebuilt the underlying grid and master page system to enforce consistency across all 124 pages, flagged structural and layout issues to the team, and proposed solutions where the original design had gaps. To recover the visual assets locked inside the Canva file, I developed a custom script to extract the images programmatically, eliminating the need to re-source photography and keeping the project on schedule.
The final deliverable was a fully packaged, print-ready InDesign file covering the complete product line: fenders, mounting kits, brackets, mud flap hardware, and accessories; each entry formatted with product photography, technical specifications, SKU references, and dimensional diagrams.
